Elopements are a choice to slow down and invest in what matters most while letting go of what doesn’t. I specialize in intimate elopements and small ceremonies in and around Portland, Maine, offering one to three hour experiences that balance meaningful connection with beautifully composed imagery.
My approach is prepared, intentional, and you-centric. It begins with a face-to-face conversation, where I learn what excites you, what feels important, and how you want your elopement to unfold. Photography is an intimate collaboration, and your comfort and confidence are essential. I’m attentive without being intrusive, providing calm guidance so your day feels natural, unrushed, and grounded.
Alongside honest moments, I specialize in incorporating sweeping landscapes to place your story within its surroundings - coastal horizons, quiet forests, and the understated drama of Maine’s natural spaces. Whether you’re exchanging vows along the Maine coast, exploring Portland’s Old Port, or choosing a secluded North Woods locale, I create images that feel expansive yet personal.

THE PROCESS:
I. Drinks Are On Me
It's easy to feel like the wedding process is full of strangers.
And I refuse to accept that.
Whether you're in Portland or Aroostook, let me take you both out for an hour to your favorite cafe or bar and chat (or Zoom if you're further afield) - about your lives, where you've been, where you want to go. I'll get a sense of what matters to you, tell you a bit about me, and afterwards, if you'd like to move forward, we can feel good about the relationship we've started to create.
II. Collaborate and Plan
In addition to your elopement/wedding you may want an engagement session - an excellent chance to practice some poses and get some great shots! After that, we'll have another meeting to go over what you loved (or didn't!) and I'll visit your venue to scout each location and chat with any other vendors to make sure we're all on the same page. Lastly, I'll attend your rehearsal to meet your friends and family and be present for any last minute changes.
III. Live Your Moment
Once the big day arrives, there's nothing else you should be focused on. Let loose, party hard, and know that everything is ready for you to have the best day of your life.
